Congatulations to Adam Ganser for winning the 2008 Tournament of Champions. Adam won a seat in the 2008 WSOP in Las Vegas.
Win a seat in the 2009 WSOP. All you have to do is win one Badger Poker tournament from 6/1/2008 through 5/1/2009 and you will qualify for the Badger Poker tournament of champions to be held in May, 2009 The winner of the T.O.C. will win a seat in any of the 2009 WSOP $1,500 events, plus $700 in travel money. Additional wins, means additional starting chips! You can also qualify for the T.O.C. by finishing a series in the top 10 in points.
Series 30 starts Monday, April 14th.
This summer we're giving away $11,000. That's right we're going to give away 11 GRAND in prizes during the next series. 11 GRAND!!! Yep, and it's still FREE to play at BP.
We are implementing seperate tournaments for each night of the week. We will still have an overall series finals like in the past also. So for the players that can only come out 1 night a week, they can qualify for that nights series finals and make some nice prize money. I will have the leaderboards on site for each night of the week as well, so you can check on your status as the series progresses. For example, the top 50 players that play on Monday Nights at The Bean will qualify for Monday night Finals on Monday, August 18th. The same thing will happen for all of the other nights as well. The Sunday tournament will include both the 4pm and 7pm tourneys on 1 leaderboard. The week of August 18th will be finals week. Every night that week will be the nightly series finals. The overall series finals will be on Saturday, August 23rd. Only the top 50 and any one with a win will qualify for the nightly series finals. Everyone that earns even 1 point will qualify for the Series 30 Finals. Each player will receive 1,000 starting chips for each point earned to start the tournament. CRAZY!
Here is the breakdown on the 11,000 payout.
The series Final will have $2,200 in cash payouts.
Each of the 6 nightly tournaments will have $700 in cash payouts. We will also give out $100 to the highest point earner for each nightly series as well as the overall series point leader. And, $100 payout to the person that has the most brown chips collected in 1 night. No, not every night, but throughout the course of the entire series, 1 person will make $100. We will also pay out $200 to the person that has the most wins in the overall series. And of course we will continue to give out $30 in gift certs every night.
